Our Payroll Programme

The Payroll Professionals Resource Centre diploma is customized to equip payroll professionals and non-payroll personnel, whose desire is to gain insight into payroll management with the essential skills and knowledge they need to become complete payroll experts.

The PPRC Qualification will equip you with the essentials that all payroll professionals should master including payroll management, pensions administration, cost and management accounting, applied payroll laws, individual taxation, human resources management, including HRMIS, risk management and control, organization systems design (including standard of operations procedures) and HR Analytics.

Our desire is for our qualification to be internationally accredited, helping professionals across the continent, to work smarter with great skills and knowledge and greater confidence through provision of practical and proven real world solutions.

  • Payroll Accountant, Payroll Manager/Administrator, Payroll Consultant

Our Delivery Mode

The diploma programme is offered in English language through any of the following options:

Distance learning, structured workshops, face-to-face through PPRC accredited institutions and online learning.

 

Admission Requirements

  • The minimum entry requirement is the National Senior Certificate or National Certificate Vocational with appropriate subject combinations and levels of achievement; or students may be accepted on maturity entry subject to mandatory payroll arithmetic test.

Exemptions

Exemptions are offered on subject to subject basis upon completion of exemption application form and applicable fee based on level of study. The exemption committee may disqualifies an exemption application if the content of module or syllabus passed by the applicant is not in line with PPRC module/syllabus. In all instances, the applicant will be advised in writing.

 

 Registrations

Applicants are required to complete all relevant information on the registration form. Submit certified photocopies of academic and professional certificates. Attach proof of payment of applicable fee. If registering for the examinations, ensure that the right amount for the subjects/modules is paid and indicate the centre/country which examinations will be seated.

 

Study material

PPRC will develop study modules or recommend resource materials for its examinations. The study materials will be updated continuously in line with legislative amendments to source reference i.e. statutory instruments or the syllabus for that year.

Examinations

Examinations shall be sat three times each year April, August and November, conducted based on guidance of PPRC examination and quality assurance committee. A maximum of 4 modules can be taken at any one sitting. Registration guideline are as per examination calendar available on download option.
